Here are my stats in my time zone.

3pm- 8pm is my most active. I haven't been on the board between 12am and 1am since the halcyon days of the Aussie Thread.

^^ ;D ;D   Those were the days when SK could be found here on the board at almost any time.

I love this thread and the amusement you provide.  I've been taking my end-of-year inventory today and was feeling rather dull.  Reading the exchange between Matt and Christopher has helped to chase the cobwebs from my brain.  Thanks for laugh.  :)

Rawhide7 has hit 1000 posts! As he mentioned here in another thread:

Wow just realized this was my 1000 post on here.  Where in the world has the time gone!  Ive really enjoyed everyone of those 1000 post I made and also reading everyone elses post.  This is a great site!  And Im looking forward too many more post on here.
And yes, quite a great site here. And I've been reminded of that as we've been looking at the board's history in some other threads.

This coming from the board's historian, Matt, of course. ;D

Congrats R7.  8)

Here's R7's first post on the board. Almost 4 years ago.

Hello Clint Eastwood fans,

I am a huge western movie fan, and naturally I am also a huge Clint Eastwood fan as well!  I do have my favorites when it comes to all of his western movies just like everyone else does.  But I can tell you I really like every one of his western's!  There's not one that I don't like!  His ability to grab the audiences attention not just in western's but in all of his movies is first class and second to none!  I also really enjoy all of his other non western movies as well.  To me a sign of a great actor is the ability to grab the audiences attention, keeping them interested, and the actors ability to play various roles.  He definetely grabs my attention and keeps me interested.  And he has proven that he is a great actor in various other movie genre's as well.  I had been visiting this site for a few weeks and decided to become a member.   Everybody on here seems really cool!  I am looking forward to getting to know all of you.  And I am really looking forward to posting and replying to various discussion topics about our favorite actor, director, and producer Clint Eastwood.

Thanks

Rawhide7

And post 1000.

Yap its extremely sad when these people pass away.  Its really depressing.  I remember when John Candy passed away.  I was in total shock.  I was looking forward to see if his comedy would withstand him getting older.  Robin Williams was another shocker for me.  Great entertainers for sure!

Wow just realized this was my 1000 post on here.  Where in the world has the time gone!  Ive really enjoyed everyone of those 1000 post I made and also reading everyone elses post.  This is a great site!  And Im looking forward too many more post on here.

Thank you Matt and SK. You guys are great!  Like I said I've really enjoyed being a member on this great site. I usually visit the general discussion and off topic sections the most. And also less frequently visit the Dirty Harry, western, question and answer, and collectors corner sections. I plan on exploring more of these sections more often in the future. Wow SK thank you for posting my first topic and my one thousandth topic. I remember that first post I made. It seems so long ago. I remember that I had trouble coming up with a username that I liked. And when I did come up with one it said it had already been taken. So I had to do some serious thinking. The number 7 was my number when I played soccer as a kid and it's always been my lucky number. And in a way by a stroke of luck one of the producers spotted Clint walking by on the universal lot and asked him if he was an actor. And then Clint is trying out for the part of rowdy Yates in rawhide. And rawhide is what got Clint started and he became a household name. And rawhide opened many doors for Clint. Anyways I'm enjoying every minute I spend on this site. Thank you everybody!

Yeah it says I registered on Jan 18 2012.  My first post was a week after I registered. If I remember correctly I think I had to be approved from the head moderator. I can't remember his username. But Richard replaced him.

Richard is the site administrator, and replaced the original webmaster Cal Anderson. Richard Earl is not the site administrator, but he is a great member. :)

I think I tried to use Rowdy Yates as my username and it said someone else already had it.  But thats okay I like Rawhide7.  Rawhide was good for Clint.  And 7 is my lucky number.  So everything worked out.

So check this out....

If we look at yesterday's date for each of the last 13 years, this is where we were at yesterday.

YEAR         # POSTS
2003    101
2004    92
2005    85
200653
200747
200828
200931
201054
2011113
201246
201313
20148
20158
2016107

Seriously, folks... we're back.  8)

And those posts weren't inflated with a Movie Night, or trivia games, or a Presidential debate.

I'm pretty happy. We've got a great core here, and we can still build from here.

Thanks to everyone who banded together with the common goal of rebuilding!

Thanks Rawhide. I can't just talk to myself though. Well, okay I can (and do) much of the time. But it isn't all that interesting.

This board is a community, and like all communities, it's had its ups and downs over the years. But, it's always been special, and it's always had a family feel. When I came back in November, I thought it was gone. It was limping along, but it wasn't gone. There were still a great core of people here...  like yourself, and our great Moderators, and key members ... many of whom go way back to the earliest days of the board (I'm looking at you Conan, Doug and AKA).

Anyway, keep it going everyone. This is still the best social site there is. (Zuckerberg be damned.)

For most of the time we've been watching this movie, it's just been the four of us on the board. :D Been like a ghost town here otherwise!

Do you think they were afraid that I'd reel them in and force them to watch Paint Your Wagon?

And this is just the second post of the day, and we had only five yesterday! I guess the board needs the rest after our bawdy movie night a couple days ago! :D
