In light of my recently created topic, Films Clint Eastwood has directed but not starred in, I thought it'd be a good idea to pick up where Christopher left off with an new poll to include Invictus, Hereafter and J. Edgar.

By "favorite" do you mean the one that we like the best, or enjoy watching the most, or which is the better overall film? I think the answer could be very different depending on what criteria you want us to use.

Hi AKA23,

I'd say however you'd like to describe your favorite will do the trick.  For me, those three you provided all describe Mystic River to me, which is why I voted for it.  As an example, even if I felt Letters From Iwo Jima was a film better made than Mystic River, I'd still choose the latter because I enjoyed it more.  I hope this helps.
