Yay, old smileys ... and the new ones are nice, too!  :2funny:

Nice job on the indented quotes.  :)

I like the way the board is shaping up. Like the new Smileys and the way the quotes now appear.  :)

There used to be a link to the main site (Old School Archive) at the bottom of each page. Is that still around somewhere?

How good is it now that we don't have to put in those silly apostrophes in when sending a PM to someone? 8)

We have some nice new options when posting. We can now use keyboard shortcuts for formatting ... Ctrl + i for italics, Ctrl + b for bold, Ctrl + u for underlining.

Also, you can press the "toggle view" button , the last one on the lower right, and it will switch the view to "what you see is what you get" and back again. In WYSIWYG mode, you can see the formatting right away, and also any images you paste in using the Image button, .

I wonder if there is any way these options can be made available in the Quick Reply box, as well as on the "regular" Reply page?

By the way, if anyone is still seeing the "wrong" smilies, try clearing your browser's cache. It worked for me! 8)

Posible but it'll take some work.  I'll have to put it in my feature request queue.

At the top of each page it tells you who is viewing that page. The members' name is now in blue and harder to read than the previous sandy color. Can we revert back to the sandy color?

Disregard last post. It's just moderators names in blue. :)

One more minor glitch, if it's not a "feature" ... ;)

It used to be you could start a post in the Quick Reply box, and if you then decided you wanted to quote someone's post, you clicked the "Quote" button in their post and it went right into the Quick Reply box, and you could continue your reply there.

But now, if you've started a Quick Reply and you click "Quote" ... it takes you to the full "Reply" page, and whatever you had already typed is gone!  :o

(Though, if you don't want to re-type it, you can click "Back," cut it out of the Quick Reply box, then click "Forward" and paste it into the full Reply box.)

I just tried it and it was OK for me. Although I wanted the quoted material under what I wrote but it came out before.

How cool is this? I just discovered in our profiles that you can changed the amount of messages (posts) and Topics per page. Maybe it's always been there but I'm sure I've never seen it before. It's always been on 20 but I just changed it to 50 and thinking the posts would come out smaller but they don't. Everything is the same except the amount of pages for a certain topic is smaller than what it was before. For example this topic was 2 pages, now it's still only one.

Messages to display per page: (Forum Default 20)
                                                         5
                                                        10
                                                        25
                                                        50

It's on the look and layout page of our profiles.  :coolsmiley:

Is it just me but I think when you click on post now, it's loading so much faster. Almost instantaneous.

I just tried it and it was OK for me.

Hmm, well, I'll try it again ...

Nope, still not working for me. May be browser-related (I'm using Firefox).

(We're talking about using the Quick Reply box to insert a quoted post.)

The quoted material should go wherever you've clicked, so that the flashing insertion cursor is on that spot.
