It is official I am dumb. :idiot2:

Don't be silly, Lin ... you're not dumb, I never noticed it before either. I think it may be a new feature. :)

All on account of pulling a trigger.

Have you noticed when typing a reply or PM now that if you spell a word incorrectly a little red squiggly line appears under the word? I don't remember seeing that before.

I've always had that as a feature of my browser (Firefox).

That's been something I've more recently have noticed as well, and not just on this site. So perhaps the browser has updated that. ???

And, actually, when I was typing recently above, I mis-typed it switching the "e" and the "n," and the word automatically corrected itself.

I guess SK and Christopher are using IE? It must have just added the built-in spellcheck feature, which Firefox has had as long as I can remember.

Firefox still doesn't automatically correct mis-typings, though, so I guess IE is now in the lead on the orthography front.

I wouldn't call this a glitch or anything, but I'd noticed very recently that I'd get an email notification for when someone replied in a thread after my last reply. I just went back into my profile setting and saw that the box was checked that said, "Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic." It must have been an automatic update or something but I don't believe I'd checked the box. Like I said, not exactly a glitch, but did anyone else start getting email notifications just recently?

Hi, Christopher, "It's not a bug, it's a feature."

Richard turned on automatic notification "by default," to encourage discussion on the Board. You can easily turn it off if you'd rather not get the e-mails.

Christopher: It was an update meant to make it easier for new users to engage.  Let me know if you have trouble turning it off. R

Was the board down just a little bit ago?

When the board isn't up and running, it means I don't have anything to preoccupy myself during class. :D ;D

Yes.  I was sweating big time.  Database error...yikes.  I hadn't done a recent backup either.  So happy to see board come back up after I did a repair of the database....!!!
