The Mods have agreed that the image of Elvis Presley that Jed Cooper posted in the above post was not appropriate for an Easter greeting, so I have removed it.

I certainly second the sentiment of the post, however. Happy Easter to everyone who celebrates the holiday, and I hope the rest of you enjoyed as glorious a spring (or fall) day as we did here in New York City!

Respectfully, not only do I wholeheartedly disagree, but to quote Lt. Commander Galloway from A Few Good Men, strenuously object to the decision to remove the completely unoffensive image in question.

I will not debate the matter.

Rather, I will simply reiterate my sincerest wishes to all to have a wonderful Easter.

This is the first one of my 71 Easters in which, beginning with Good Friday, I have genuinely tried to stay focused on what happened during each day (about) 2,000 years ago, and what those events mean to me.

Thanks for the good wishes. This has actually been perhaps my most enjoyable and thoughtful Easter.

You're very welcome.  Glad to hear you had a very nice holiday.

Thanks, Antonis.  We had a great day with family, starting off with church, then a late lunch capped off with an egg hunt for the kiddies that included a visit from yours truly dressed as Peter Cottontail!  It was one of the best Easters ever and I couldn't believe how fast it went!  Thanks again  ;)

Here you go, Antonis!  A very nice Easter photo of my wonderful children, Nicholas & Nina, too.
