Just wanted some of your thoughts on these two films.  Based on the trailers both of these movies seem pretty good.  I've seen parts of Space Cowboys before.  And I've never seen True Crime before.

I'm going to post the answer I sent Rawhide7 in a PM ... Both are good and entertaining films, if not masterpieces. They are very different. True Crime is a death-row thriller and the story of a rogue's redemption (Clint's character). Space Cowboys is an adventure-comedy about four old guys who get an unexpected chance to finally realize the dream of their youth, and save the world while they're at it.

I think you would enjoy either one.

There can be no comparison between these two movies, other than Clint is in them both.

I like them and have watched them a number of times. If I had to chose one it would be Space Cowboys. It is a lighter movie and fun to watch.

True Crime
is an excellent movie however I can't say it is an easy watch.

Two very different films but I highly recommend both. Space Cowboys is a fun don't take it too seriously fun ride, while True Crime is a serious little thriller. Will Clint save the man on death row before it's too late?

You won't be disappointed with both these films, R7. 8)

Both of these films are worth seeing. Of the two, I prefer "True Crime." It's thematically richer and more interesting to me, and I think it has a lot of thought-provoking social commentary about the death penalty that was missed upon its release.

In contrast,"Space Cowboys" is fun, but I think it's tonally a bit inconsistent. It starts off being a pretty effective buddy comedy about dealing with aging and remaining relevant in old age, but quickly devolves into a space drama in the second half of the film. I think the first half of the movie is more successful than the second half is, but I'd recommend both of these films. They are both entertaining.
